On August 11, the filming of 'Rustin', the Obama-produced movie, will close off North Carolina Avenue between 6th Street and 8th Street between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m., according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

'Rustin' is a biopic about Bayard Rustin, a gay civil rights activist who organized the 1963 March on Washington and served as Martin Luther King, Jr.'s advisor, according to IMDb.

Parking restrictions will be implemented all long that street with emergency no parking and closed signs posted all throughout the area, officials said.

Police said anyone who does not comply with the parking constraints will be fined and towed.
